What is a gallery? What do I use it for? Top

Every Blogstream user has a gallery where they can post images for other people to view. It's kind of like a Photo Album online. The gallery can be viewed directly, or images posted to the gallery can be linked directly into your blog posts.

Are there any limits on gallery image submissions? Top

Yes, there are a few. First, the images that are accepted into the gallery must be JPeg, GIF, or PNG format and can be at most 100k each in size. You can try to submit a larger image and the system will attempt to shrink it for you, however if it cannot shrink it to within 100k, it will not be accepted.

Also you are currently limited to a maximum of 50 images and a total of 2 Megs in total (for all images). If this does not fit your requirements, you may wish to try an external image hosting service.

How can I add create an "Icon" (headshot) for my blog page? Top

After successfully submitting a photo to the gallery, view your gallery images and then click on the "icon" link under the image you would like to use. This image will be automatically shrunk by the system and copied for use on your blog page.
